We are fortunate to be able to help, and be helped by, various partner organizations who also work toward some of the same goals we do: sharing Christ with others, helping the less fortunate, and providing sound moral guidance.
ACTS (Association of Christians in Tallassee for Service)
An organization that is supported by several area churches, ACTS provides food, clothing, toys, and utility assistance to Tallassee residents in need. FMC Tallassee supports ACTS financially throughout the year, provides a continual supply of cornmeal and flour for their food pantry, and donates new toys for their Christmas toy drive. Scouting – Cub Scouts, Scouts
FMC Tallassee is the Charter Organization of Tallassee’s Pack 59 Cub Scouts, and both Boys’ & Girls’ Troop 59. These groups are open to boys and girls in grades 1 through 12, and they meet in our church every Monday, beginning at 6:30 pm (Cubs) and 7 pm (Scouts).
