We love Tallassee and through this new ministry, Pray and Go, we are giving ourselves away to our neighbors through our prayers and presence!  We don’t know how long it will take, but our goal is to pray for each household in our community!

God calls us to PRAY for others. And he calls us to GO out and share the Good News with them!  We’ve introduced Pray and Go as a low-key tool for outreach to begin accomplishing this mission. Teams of two go out every week into our community to pray over people’s homes, stopping on the sidewalk or road in front of each home and offering up prayers for the residents who live there: prayers of blessing, prayers for good health, prayers for family, prayers for a strengthened relationship with Jesus, or whatever is put on the team’s hearts to pray.  Afterwards, a hanger is left on the front door, letting those inside know they’ve been prayed for, and inviting them to share with us any specific prayer requests or other needs they may have.
