We live with the constant temptation to place our hope in material possessions, but if we do, it leads to fear and anxiety because it is uncertain. Rather, we place our hope in God, and the practice that enables us to do that is generosity.

When our identity comes from Christ and his gospel, we will never feel superior or inferior to others.
